Alternative High Schools

Our Alternative Education program is a grade 9 - 12 in-person and
grade 8 - 12 online public school established to provide personalized
educational services for students who may be at risk of dropping out
or have already dropped out, risk not graduating with their class,
have behavioral issues, or have individual needs that aren't being met
in a traditional school setting.  We offer personalized, flexible and
self-paced educational approaches to learning and earning the high
school credits needed to graduate.  We provide different options for
students who might find traditional schooling challenging allowing
them to learn in ways that fit their strengths and needs.  There are
both in-person and virtual class options available leading to your
student earning their diploma.  There is also a GED option available
to students over the age of 16.  By encouraging self-directed learning
and practical skills, alternative education prepares students for
real-life problems and future careers.
